Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger, nado en Thal (Austria) o 30 de xullo de 1947, é un fisicoculturista, actor e político estadounidense de orixe austríaca. Actualmente é o 38º gobernador de California; forma parte do Partido Republicano.

Está casado con Maria Shriver, sobriña de John F. Kennedy, que forma parte do máis prestante clan demócrata do país a pesar de que Schwarzenegger pertence ao partido republicano, en representación do cal foi elixido Gobernador do estado de California en 2003 e reelixido en 2006.
