Está formado por versións remesturadas de temas do seu álbum de estudio Year Zero, creados por varios artistas e produtores.

Este álbum foi o derradeiro de Nine Inch Nails en ser editado a través de Interscope Records, ao cumprirse os compromisos contractuais da banda coa discográfica.
