Matthew David McConaughey, nado en Uvalde, Texas o 4 de novembro de 1969 é un actor estadounidense.
Traxectoria[editar | editar a fonte]
Nado en Texas, comezou a súa carreira como actor en anuncios televisivos en 1991, pero o seu primeiro papel destacado no cinema foi en Dazed and Confused, de Richard Linklater.
A partir do ano 2000 protagonizou comedias románticas como The Wedding Planner. En 2013 interpretou o papel principal de Dallas Buyers Club, co que gañou varios premios, coma o Oscar ao mellor actor. Dos seus papeis na televisión, é especialmente recoñecido por interpretar o detective da Policía Estatal de Luisiana, Rustin Rust Cohle, na serie True Detective de HBO.
