John Cleland, nado o 24 de setembro de 1709 en Kingston-upon-Thames e finado o 23 de xaneiro de 1789, foi un novelista inglés moi famoso coñecido por escribir Fanny Hill, novela referente da literatura erótica. John Cleland foi o último fillo de William Cleland e Lucy Cleland (nada Du Pass).
