Kevin McKidd, nado o 9 de agosto de 1973 en Elgin, Moray, é un director e actor de cine e televisión escocés. É coñecido polo seus papeis en televisión, incluíndo os roles de "Lucius Vorenus" en Rome, "Poseidón" en Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief e o "Doutor Owen" en Grey's Anatomy.
Tamén apareceu en filmes como Trainspotting, Bedrooms and Hallways, Kingdom of Heaven, The Last Legion, Hannibal Rising, The Acid House, Made of Honor e tivo un papel protagonista no filme de terror Dog Soldiers.

Formación [editar]
McKidd naceu e foi criado en Elgin, Moray, no norte de Escocia. O seu pai era un fontaneiro e a súa nai, unha secretaria.[1] Asistiu á Escola Primaria Seafield e á Academia Elgin, e era membro do grupo local St Giles Group Theatre. Tentou estudar enxeñaría e foi á Universidade de Edimburgo, pero desistiu e matriculouse na Queen Margaret University en Edimburgo para estudar drama. Tamén se uniu á compañía de teatro estudantil da Universidade de Edimburgo, Bedlam Theatre.
McKidd está casado con Jane Parker e teñen dous fillos, Joseph e Iona. A familia reside nos Ánxeles durante a rodaxe de Grey's Anatomy.
