MGA73bot (conversa · contribucións) is controlled by me MGA73 (conversa · contribucións). The bot uses pywikipedia standard scripts. I have bot flag on Commons and Japanese Wikipedia for example. My bot have made more than a million edits.
I have been talking with Usuario:Estevoaei about preparing files so it is easier to move them to Wikimedia Commons. What I can do with my bot is for example adding Modelo:Information and temporary categories. My plan is to coordinate edits with Usuario:Estevoaei.

- Supplementing information: Instead of removing the old file information it is put in a temporary template called {{Usuario:MGA73/Sandbox4}}. Putting it there makes it easier for humans to check that the information have been added correctly to Modelo:Information. If the file is moved to Commons then FileImporter will remove {{Usuario:MGA73/Sandbox4}} and all the information in it. If a human decide to correct any of the information then the template can be removed manually. If the file is not eligible to move to Commons then the template and the manteinance category should be removed manually. --MGA73 (conversa) 13 de febreiro de 2021 ás 09:03 (UTC)

- Hi, I've seen that your bot includes a manteinance category for further actions, I guess, but in some cases it also changes the prefix "Categoría" for "Category" mantaining the old category titles in Galician language. - Hi Maria zaos! My idea was/is that once the bot have changed the file page then a human check if it all looks good and if it does then the file is moved to Commons and the local page is deleted. Then on Commons the file is categorized using the category names on Commons. The manteinance category is meant to be a help both on gl.wiki and Commons because if a file is in that category on gl.wiki it means it is changed by the bot and probably ready to move to Commons. If it is in the category on Commons it means that it was moved to Commons and it has not yet been categorized correctly. The category can be called whatever you or Estevo(aei) prefer. About "Categoría" vs "Category" it is a result of me using parts of code I use on other wikis. It is very easy to change it so it uses "Categoría".
