Susan Brown, ou Susan Elizabeth Brown, nada o 6 de maio de 1946, en Bristol (Gran Bretaña),[1][2] é unha actriz de teatro e televisión. É coñecida, sobre todo, polo seu papel como Septa Mordane na serie de HBO, Game of Thrones.

Formouse no Rose Bruford College antes de comenza-la súa carreira profesional. Participou en producións teatrais como The Wild Duck (Donmar Warehouse), Henry IV Partes 1 e 2 , Playing with Fire , Cardiff East[3] e The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each (Teatro Nacional),[4] Easter , Romeo e Xulieta, Ricardo III e Bad Weather (RSC), Road,[2] Shirley, Downfall, Gibraltar Straight e Seagulls (Royal Court), Butterfly Kiss (Almeida), The House of Bernarda Alba e The Chairs (Gate Theatre), You Be Ted y I'll Be Sylvia (Hampstead), Playing Sinatra (Croydon Warehouse e Greenwich Theatre ), The Beaux Stratagem, Back to Methuselah, The Vortex, The Way of the World e A Woman of No Importance (Cambridge Theatre Company), Twelfth Night (English Touring Theatre), Small Change,[5][6] Ifigenia (Sheffield Crisol) e Angels in America.

Brown interpretou, en outubro de 1993, a "Mrs Dimmock", unha viúva que se que se atopa un canón no episodio The Peking Gun da serie Lovejoy. Mais para o público internacional, Brown é máis coñecida polo seu papel de Septa Mordane na primeira tempada da serie Game of Thrones. O seu personaxe foi asasinado nos episodios finais da primeira tempada. Tamén tivo un papel secundario, como a coidadora de Margaret Thatcher, June, en The Iron Lady, e apareceu en pequenos papeis na serie dramática da BBC, Call the Midwife e tamén en Torchwood .
