Haumea loxoides é unha especie de molusco bivalvo da orde dos ostreidos, suborde dos pectininos, superfamilia dos pectinoideos e familia dos pectínidos,[1][2] unha das tres que integran o xénero Haumea, da que é a súa especie tipo.[1]

A especie foi descrita en 1882 por G. B. Sowerby III, baixo o nome de Pecten loxoides.[3]

A especie é endémica das costas das illas Hawai.[4]
