Os miskitos son un pobo indíxena de América Central, moitos dos cales son mestizos. Na parte norte do seu territorio está formado por afro-nativos;[1] mentres que os outros son descendentes de nativos con ingleses. O seu territorio esténdese dende cabo Camarón, Honduras, até o río Grande, Nicaragua, ó longo da costa dos Mosquitos. A súa poboación rolda as 180 000 persoas.
