A lípido IVA 4-amino-4-desoxi-L-arabinosiltransferase (EC 2.4.2.43), tamén chamada undecaprenil fosfato-alfa-L-Ara4N transferase, 4-amino-4-desoxi-L-arabinosa lípìdo A transferase, proteína de resistencia á polimixina PmrK, e arnT (xene), é un encima bacteriano co nome sistemático 4-amino-4-desoxi-alfa-L-arabinopiranosil ditrans,octacis-undecaprenil fosfato:lípido IVA 4-amino-4-desoxi-L-arabinopiranosiltransferase.[1][2][3][4][5] Esrte encima cataliza as seguintes reaccións químicas.
- (1) 4-amino-4-desoxi-alfa-L-arabinopiranosil ditrans,octacis-undecaprenil fosfato + alfa-Kdo-(2->4)-alfa-Kdo-(2->6)-lípido A alfa-Kdo-(2->4)-alfa-Kdo-(2->6)-[4-P-L-Ara4N]-lípido A + ditrans,octacis-undecaprenil fosfato
- (2) 4-amino-4-desoxi-alfa-L-arabinopiranosil ditrans,octacis-undecaprenil fosfato + lípido IVA lípìdo IIA + ditrans,octacis-undecaprenil fosfato
- (3) 4-amino-4-desoxi-alfa-L-arabinopiranosil ditrans,octacis-undecaprenil fosfato + alfa-Kdo-(2->4)-alfa-Kdo-(2->6)-lípido IVA 4'-alfa-L-Ara4N-alfa-Kdo-(2->4)-alfa-Kdo-(2->6)-lípido IVA + ditrans,octacis-undecaprenil fosfato
Este encima é unha proteína integral de membrana que está presente na membrana interna de certas endobacterias gramnegativas.
