Ngaio Marsh

Dame Ngaio Marsh (1895 - 1982) foi unha escritora e directora de teatro neocelandesa.
Estoudou pintura en Christchurch, pero acabou por converterse nunha actriz de teatro. A partir de 1928 viviu entre Inglaterra e Nova Celandia.
Ngaio coñécese internacionalmente polas 32 novelas policiais protagonizadas por Roderick Alleyn e que publicou entre 1934 e 1982, xunto con Agatha Christie, Margery Allingham e Dorothy L. Sayers foi unha das catro damas do crime que dominaron o xénero entre 1930 e 1950. Non obstante, en Nova Celandia é máis coñecida polo seu traballo teatral.
