Bartonella elizabethae (antes chamada Rochalimaea elizabethae[1][2]), é unha especie de alfaproteobacteria. Pode causar enfermidades en animais[3] e humanos.[4] As infeccións por B. elizabethae poden ser máis comúns do que previamente se pensaba. Nun estudo feito en Nova York en 1997-98 entre drogadictos por vía intravenosa sobre especies de Bartonella atopou que os anticorpos contra B. elizabethae eran os máis comúns entre as bartonelas, atopados no 46% dos casos.[5]
Deuselle o seu nome específico polo hospital de St. Elizabeth en Brighton, Massachusetts, onde foi illada.[2]
