The End of the Beginning é o álbum de estrea da banda irlandesa de post-rock God Is an Astronaut, publicado no ano 2002 a través do selo Revive Records. O seu título probablemente proceda dunha famosa cita de Winston Churchill, nun discurso sobre a Segunda Batalla de El Alamein: "Now this is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning" (Agora este non é o final, nin sequera é o principio do fin. Pero é, talvez, o final do principio).
O tema "Fall from the Stars" foi usado pola canle irlandesa TV3 durante a cobertura da Copa do Mundo de Rugby 2007. O álbum sería remasterizado dixitalmente e reeditado no ano 2011.
