O papel máis notorio da súa carreira é o de Rosa Cotón nos filmes de Peter Jackson baseados na triloxía d'O Señor dos Aneis. O seu personaxe é o dunha muller hobbit que casa con Samsagaz Gamllí no filme The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, aínda que tamén fai unha breve aparición no primeiro filme The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. A súa filla na realidade, Maisy, fixo do bebé de Rosie e Sam.
