Ian Joseph Somerhalder, nado o 8 de decembro de 1978 en Luisiana é un actor, modelo e produtor de cine estadounidense. É coñecido por interpretar a Boone Carlyle na serie de televisión Lost, aínda que tamén son notábeis as súas aparicións noutras series como Smallville ou CSI. Recentemente destaca por facer o papel protagonista na serie The Vampire Diaries como "Damon Salvatore".
