Clive Owen nado o 3 de outubro de 1964 en Coventry, é un actor inglés que traballa en televisión, teatro e cine. Acadou a fama co filme Close My Eyes (1991) antes de gañar soa internacional en Croupier (1998). En 2005, Owen gañou un Globo de Ouro e un BAFTA e foi nomeado ó Oscar pola súa interpretación no drama Closer (2004).
Dende 2014 protagoniza a serie de Cinemax The Knick, onde dá vida ao Doutor John W. Thackery e da que tamén é produtor executivo.
