Blur 21 é unha box set con CDs, DVDs e vinilos que abrangue a gran maioría da música de Blur. Foi lanzada o 30 de xullo de 2012, conmemorando o 21 aniversario do lanzamento de Leisure, o primeiro álbum da banda. A publicación tivo lugar antes da actuación da banda en Hyde Park como parte da cerimonia de clausura dos Xogos Olímpicos de Verán de 2012. Unha versión da caixa contén dezaoito CDs, tres DVDs, un disco de vinilo de 7" (do tema "Superman" de Seymour) e un libro de tapa dura que actúa como unha biografía completa da banda. Os CDs conteñen os sete álbums de estudio de Blur lanzados ata ese momento, cos cinco primeiros remasterizados, e cada álbum recibe un novo segundo disco de material de cara B; así como catro discos de "rarezas" que conteñen principalmente material inédito. Os DVDs conteñen Showtime, The Singles Night e un disco de rarezas completamente novo. É a retrospectiva máis completa da banda.[1]

Outro box set, Blur 21 Vinyl Edition, foi lanzado ao mesmo tempo, e contiña os sete álbums de estudio da banda en vinilo de alta densidade, cada un dos LPs reempacado como un álbum dobre agás Leisure, un álbum único. Porén, a edición en vinilo non inclúe ningún material inédito.[2] Como se indicou anteriormente, o pack sinxelo de Blur 21 CD/DVD/7" contén moitas gravacións inéditas, incluíndo os lanzamentos tan esperados de cancións xa coñecidas como "Pap Pop", "Beached Whale" e "Sir Elton John's Cock".

Con todo, algunhas cancións lanzadas previamente pola banda non aparecen na caixa, como "Colours", unha canción descartada de Think Tank publicada como sinxelo dun club de fans en 2003. Do mesmo xeito, algunhas cancións inéditas non aparecen na caixa, como "Death Metal", unha improvisación das sesións de 13 en 1998, e "For Old Time's Sake", gravada en 1993 para o CD The Sunday Popular Community Song, pero que se eliminou do EP debido a que posiblemente se borrou ou se perdeu. Tamén faltan do CD The Sunday Popular Community Song as caras B "Dizzy", "Fried", "Shimmer", "Long Legged" e "Tell Me, Tell Me". Ademais, non aparece na caixa ningún material do álbum de remesturas e temas en directo da banda de 1998 Bustin' + Dronin'. Rarities 4, un dos álbums extra da caixa, inclúe unha versión antiga de "Under the Westway". Tampouco incluíron versións instrumentais de "Under the Westway" e "The Puritan", que estaban dispoñibles no CD cando se lanzou o sinxelo.

A caixa tamén inclúe un código especial para descargar todo o contido musical en MP3, xunto con todos os números da revista Blurb e contido adicional con comentarios de son e metraxe inédita por álbum.
