A Tribe Called Quest foi unha banda estadounidense de hip hop formada en Queens, Nova York, en 1985,[1][2][3] e composta orixinalmente polo rapeiro e produtor principal Q-Tip,[4] o rapeiro Phife Dawg, o DJ e co-produtor Ali Shaheed Muhammad, e o rapeiro Jarobi White. O grupo é considerado un pioneiro do hip hop alternativo e da fusión de jazz con hip hop, influíndo en numerosos músicos de hip hop e R&B.[5][6][7]
