Virgina Syddall Henley, nada en 1935, é unha escritora inglesa de grandes éxitos comercial na novelas románticas. As súas novelas, de alto contido sensual, fixéronlle gañar o cualificativo de "Queen of Steam" (Raíña do Vapor). Publicou máis de 25 novelas, traducidas a catorce idiomas.
