The Shape of Punk to Come: A Chimerical Bombination in 12 Bursts é o terceiro e derradeiro álbum da banda sueca de hardcore punk Refused, editado o 27 de outubro de 1998 a través do selo Burning Heart Records. O título do mesmo fai referencia ao álbum de Ornette Coleman The Shape of Jazz to Come, aparecido en 1959, e tamén á canción de The Nation of Ulysses "The Sound of Jazz to Come", do seu traballo Plays Pretty for Baby, que á súa vez fai referencia ao álbum de Ornette Coleman. O tema "Worms of the Senses" é unha alusión ao poema "Howl" de Allen Ginsberg, e a canción "Refused are Fuckin' Dead" fai referencia ao tema de Born Against "Born Against are Fuckin' Dead".
