Michael Owen Rosenbaum, nado o 11 de xullo de 1972 en Oceanside, Nova York, é un actor e director de cine estadounidense. É coñecido no ámbito internacional por interpretar a Lex Luthor na serie de televisión Smallville, que está inspirada na figura de Superman.

Medrou en Newburgh (Indiana) e graduouse na "Western Kentucky University" (Kentucky), cun grao académico en Artes Teatrais. Mudouse a Nova York para se converter en actor profesional. No filme Sweet November traballou xunto con Charlize Theron e Keanu Reeves. Porén, o papel que lle outorgou recoñecemento internacional foi o Lex Luthor en Smallville.
