Marton Csokas, nado o 30 de xuño de 1966 en Invercargill, é un actor de cine e televisión neozelandés.

Biografía [editar]
É fillo dunha enfermeira con ascendencia irlandesa e dinamarquesa e dun enxeñeiro mecánico húngaro que se chama Márton Csókás tamén.[1][2][3] Csokas asistiu ó "King's College" de Auckland e graduouse na escola de interpretación "Toi Whakaari" en 1989.
Traxectoria [editar]
Un dos papeis máis notabeis da súa carreira como actor é Celeborn, nos filmes baseados na triloxía d'O Señor dos Aneis, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring e The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Tamén é importante a súa participación no filme Kingdom of Heaven interpretando a "Guy de Lusignan" e as súas aparicións na serie de televisión Xena: Warrior Princess como un antigo amor de Xena. Ademais, fixo de "Jarda" en The Bourne Supremacy.
As súas participacións no teatro inclúen obras de Tom Stoppard e William Shakespeare polos anos 1990 en Nova Zelandia, e en Australia participou nas obras Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf (2007) e Peribáñez (2006).[4]
Vida persoal [editar]
Csokas posúe dobre nacionalidade húngara e neozelandesa.
Comezou unha relación coa actriz Eva Green despois de coñecela no 2005 durante a rodaxe de Kingdom of Heaven. No 2008, despois e tres anos de relación a distancia, mudouse a Londres para vivir con ela.[5] Romperon no ano 2009 e actualmente vive nos Ánxeles.
