Jaron Lanier

Jaron Zepel Lanier[1], nado en New York o 3 de maio de 1960[2], é un informático, compositor, artista visual e autor estadounidense.[3] Foi pioneiro e popularizou a expresión realidade virtual (VR das siglas en inglés: Virtual Reality) ao principio dos anos 80s.[3] Daquela, fundou a VPL Research, a primeira compañía para vender produtos de VR. As súas citas actuais inclúen a Interdisciplinary Scholar-in-Residence, CET, Universidade de California, Berkeley.[4]
