Alfredo James "Al" Pacino, nado o 25 de abril de 1940 no Bronx, Nova York, é un actor, produtor, guionista e director de cine estadounidense.

Traxectoria [editar]
É famoso por interpretar a mafiosos, como Michael Corleone na triloxía do Padriño, Tony Montana en Scarface, Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice en Dick Tracy, "Lefty" Ruggiero en Donnie Brasco e Carlito Brigante en Carlito's Way. Tamén ten aparecido en varias ocasións intepretando personaxes totalmente opostos como oficial de policía, detective e avogado. O seu papel como Frank Slade en Scent of a Woman valeulle o Oscar ó mellor actor en 1992 despois de ser nomeado en varias edicións previas.
É considerado como un dos cinco mellores actores vivos de Hollywood (o quinteto alcumado The Pantheon), xunto con Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Robert Duvall e Anthony Hopkins.
